  • Summary: I bought these binos after years of debate with myself on wether it was worth the big price tag? My final answer? Yes it is .If your in the outdoors year after year in an attempt to harvest game, or on a family vacation at yellow stone or on the lake for a weekend outing great optics are priceless.

Upgrade from 8/32s to 8/42s Swarovski

KRMuzz, Cabela's
3 October 2014
  • Summary: I like my 8/32s KAHLES made by Swarovski. They are good to have when bow or gun hunting. I like a light pair of glasses. Not to heavy carry all day. So I went up a little, 8/42s Swarovski. What a difference . It's like everything is closer, an clear. Glad I made the upgrade .

What you expect from Swarovski

WaterPeddler, Cabela's
30 September 2014
  • Summary: I was looking for the best high power binoculars on the market and after extensive research, I settled on the Swarovski 15X56. They are very clear edge to edge (but not as good as the 8.5x42 EL) and work well in low light conditions.

Swarovski SLC 8x42 WB Binocular

Rick, binocularreviews.org
2 September 2014
  • Excerpt: An excellent binocular at a good price After purchasing a Swarovski spotting scope a year ago to assist my aging eyes at the range, I started noticing that my eyes were getting tired when glassing the woods with my Pentax binoculars.  They aren't the top binos Pentax makes, but they are very good.

  • Summary: I bought these for hunting. They are absolutely amazing.I also own a pair of 10x42 swarovski and 8 x56 zeiss and although they are very good the 15x56 are in a league of their own.The clarity is amazing.Remember when buying binos such as these that for the most part they must be supported by a tripod...

Expensive, but worth every penny

  • Summary: We use these extensively for rock chuck shooting and it literally is a game changer. I mount them on a Manfrotto 055 tripod set off to my left side with the center column horizontal, this places the binocular over the left side of my shooting bench. That allows me to rest my elbows on the bench too!

Exceeds expectations

tomdoc, Cabela's

  • Summary: Although expectations were high for Swarovski, these glasses were even better than I had hoped for. Extremely clear and easy to adjust and use, these are by far the best binoculars i have ever owned, including some high-end competitors.

Just doesnt get any better!!

AvidJoe, Cabela's
11 December 2013
  • Summary: I just bought a pair of ZEISS HD's last week on sale and although the Clarity and low light visibility were exceptional the eye relief with the eye shields was frustrating. Just could not get them to rest up against my eyes and be picture perfect without black rings.
