Excerpt: I use the product for wildlife watching, under severe weather, dust and wind. The binoculars are sharp in low light, tough, and easy to use. They feel great in my hands, with great image quality. The only "complaint" is the price, but you are paying for the best.
Summary: Outstanding value, especially for the money! For those who don't have $2,500 to spend on "Swarovision" the previous model EL's are 99.9% the clarity and overall quality at 60% of the price. Wonderful binoculars for those who want exceptional quality and value!
Summary: I purchased the Swarovski EL 10 x 42 binoculars because I knew they were the best binoculars out there. I'm an avid birder and wanted the best binos. There is no comparing them to others. They are very clear, easy to focus and tremendous for finding distant birds.
Excerpt: I had used a mid-grade 10x35 for a number of years as more of a bird photographer than a birder. The new 10x50 EL are a great improvement. I can now spot interesting species much more readily. They have a nice field of view, show vibrant colors, and focus very quickly. They work well with my glasses or without. The only tricky part was figuring out how to attach the carrying strap, which is very comfortable.
Excerpt: I am not a professional; but, over these last 3 years of My very intensive research project I have become very informed as to which binoculars are probably the "Top of the Best" at the present time. There are only a few top contenders. It is My informed opinion, there are none of the others who can beat Swarovski's Swarovision, no matter what the power of the Swarovision. A further expansion of that would be My experience of the relatively new EL 50mms.
Pros: Close Focus, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: These binoculars are exceptional. They are light, with buttery smooth focus, and an image that is bright, sharp and without color cast. (Look at a sheet of well-lit photo paper or other white paper backwards through binoculars and you can compare how accurate a binocular transmits color.) Eye relief is long. Flare and coma are well controlled. A person with normal financial resources (like me) will think its crazy to pay this much for a set of binoculars. And it is.
Pros: Brightness, Color Accuracy, Comfortable, Good Grip, Lightweight, Precise, Rugged, Smooth Focusing, Versatile
Summary: The binoculars are everything I was hoping for. Crystal clear lenses and light weight to carry. These glasses are very lean looking, easy to handle and adjust and extremely well made. If you can afford them buy them, they are the best out there.
Summary: I am an avid bird watcher and have always wanted these binoculars and I am not disappointed at all! I love the crispness of the sight of these binoculars. They are awesome. My boyfriend is a duck hunter and is *eyeing* these to take with him the next time he goes. Since they operate in such low light I love to get up at sunrise and sit on the patio and watch the birds come in to the feeders. Highly recommend even though kind of pricey. Well worth the investment.
Excerpt: For years I was dissuaded from ordering 10 power binos--- I couldn't possibly hold them still enough for them to be useful. On a recent birding trip I had the opportunity to use the EL 10 x 50 and the owner convinced me that shaking ( distortion)would not be a problem. Exquisite they are---I now see colors previously unseen in the deeper shade, details of tail shape, eyerings and "booties"!The clarity is stunning--- it is better than being there!
Pros: Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
