Exspensive but worth it
Summary: I have 3 Swarovski rifle scopes and love them. I am going on an elk hunt where long shots are possible. I decided that a combination of binocular and range finder would save precious moments in shot preparation. The binocular component is awesome in clarity, light gathering and image quality. The range finder is bright, easy to read and fast. I tested it on a 500 yd. gun range and it is accurate.
Summary: I am a dedicated prairie dog shooter and big game hunter. This range finder will read very well in flat terrain with very little background color difference at long yardage (600 to 800 yrds). The red yardage read out is bold and easy to read even in bright sunlight.
Summary: They are a lot of Money and it is a big time purchase but well worth it. The optics are everything you would expect from Swarovski and the rang finder works great. A lot of Bow hunter will say that they will not do short range and they are right. The shortest range I got was 37 yds and the longest was 2200 yds. But you are not buying these to look at things you can all ready see. They worked great for me Elk,Deer,Antelope and just looking around.
Summary: I have the 10x42 SLC. Upgraded to the EL 10x42 Rangefinder. No regrets. Well worth the money. I use them most of the year hunting and guiding. Angle works great. I bow hunt, and I have got the range finder to hit 32 yards, but nothing less. Wish it would range a little less, but other than that it works great. had it hit snow on rocks the other day at 1634 yards. We hunt in big canyons for rifle, so the angle shot came in handy when on top of them.
Summary: These are the best Bino range finder combination for the money. I can't say one bad thing about them, only if you want quality then get these. Also if you plan on using these for bow hunting? Out of a blind? Or tree stand at ranges of 20,30, 40 yards? You have to much money to be using these and should be able to know those distances without a range finder.
