The best outdoor investment you can make

Summary: I have a pair of 10 X 42 given to me as a retirement gift from my company. They could have not done better for me. These are the best optics I have ever owned and don't know how I got by the past 50 years with out them. They offer extremely clear, focused and perfect objective. I could not stress enough how wonderful they are. I will say if there is one piece of equipment that you should go all out and send the extra money these are it.
Summary: I've used several binoculars over the years, and have been happy with several of them. Then a close friend offered me his Swarovski for an afternoon hunt. I was skeptical at first, and thought the cost could not be justified. My wise friend just smiled and said "give them a try and form your own opinion". I did give them a try, formed my own opinion, and now I have my own.
Summary: I read a lot of product reviews over the last year or so on the Swarovski EL10x42 and couldn't find anything negative, and I agree. Now that I own a pair I'm very happy. I realize the price is pretty steep, but you can't beat the incredible crystal clear view.
Summary: My 8x32 El's are virtually useless in low light or at long distance. They are good at short range in full light and are great sports event glasses. My go to binoculars in the field are SLC 10x42's with the tripod mount for extended use. The best clarity and brightness I have ever seen are are provided by an old West German pair of Zeiss 8x56 rubber armored roof prism glasses that I may have buried with me just in case...
Summary: These are as good as it gets! Obviously a lot of money but they are my most used piece of outdoor equipment. I have owned a pair of 8x30 SLC's for 20 years before buying these for hunting out west. The glass is even better than my SLC's which I have zero complaints with. If you are doing a lot of serious glassing these are what you should be looking at. Everyone who looks through them is impressed with them.
Summary: Many people, including myself, constantly upgrade their optics overtime as they hunt more and experience different quality products. I went into Cabela's to purchase my 4th set of hunting binoculars. Each pair was more expensive that the last. I was looking at a nice Euro model. I mentioned to the salesman that I was upgrading and told him my story and all the areas and animals I hunted. He said, "I'll save you money.
Summary: Bought a kit about 10 years ago, spotting scope and 10x42 EL Swarovski. Two years ago one of the rings that hold the strap wore away and broke. Sent them in to be fixed, they fixed both rings, recoated the lenses, replaced about 8 other parts I didn't even know we're broken and sent them back, like brand new. I didn't even have to pay shipping. The large price tag up front may seem a lot, but it is well worth it.
Summary: The Swarovski el Binoculars are far the best I have ever looked through. They were in like new. It is hard to believe that the swarovski er binoculars are so clear and so much brighter than other brands, you can not go wrong with them.
Summary: Have an older set of 8.5x40 and even though they were great I needed a little more power to see better. I guide in Colorado in the fall and am eye sight isn't getting better. Have used them Alabama already and the new ones are great. The ability to draw light in the pre-dawn and in the dusk is great. The clarity with the HD you have to see to believe. While I liked the older pair, the 12x50 is definately a huge improvement.
