Excerpt: I am very pleased in My experiences with the 10 by 50 ELs I ordered from Our Friends at B and H. Please read that review at B and H under the 10 by 50 EL heading. Despite all the warnings about being able not being able to handhold even the 10 by 50 ELs, I went ahead and got the 10 by 50 ELs anyway. I found those 10s to be very stable and knew I would probably always wonder if I just might find the same to be true about the 12s. I decided to give those a try.
Pros: Close Focus, Great resolution, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Very Little Wiggle, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: The Swarovski el Binoculars are far the best I have ever looked through. They were in like new. It is hard to believe that the swarovski er binoculars are so clear and so much brighter than other brands, you can not go wrong with them.
Summary: Have an older set of 8.5x40 and even though they were great I needed a little more power to see better. I guide in Colorado in the fall and am eye sight isn't getting better. Have used them Alabama already and the new ones are great. The ability to draw light in the pre-dawn and in the dusk is great. The clarity with the HD you have to see to believe. While I liked the older pair, the 12x50 is definately a huge improvement.
Excerpt: Go to any store and compare these Swarovski EL binoculars to the other top brands (Leica, Zeiss, etc.). The others won't even be a close second to Swarovski's clarity and brightness. That said, while the binoculars are incredible Swarovski's accessories (case, lenses covers, etc.) come no where close to matching their high end optics. Buy these binoculars and write Swarovski telling them to get off the dime with their accessories.
Pros: Close Focus, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: As a National Coastwatch Watchkeeper enhanced vision is essential to identify potentially vulnerable vessels and persons around our coastline. These binoculars are without doubt the best I have ever used. Clarity, distance and magnification all meet the highest criteria I can suggest.
