Swarovski 10x32 EL <> 10x42 SCL
15 February 2011
Summary: I was looking at both pair of Swarovski glasses, I compaired the 10x42 SCLs (son in law has these) an the 10x32 ELs, I am 63 ys old and could not tell that much differance and the 10 x 32 were the lightest of the two so that is what I bought, great glasses for old eyes, I will be using them on an Elk Hunt this year. Yes, they are high price glasses but wourth every penny.
Summary: The Swarovski's exceeded my expectations in every way. I bought the 10x32s because I didn't want the bulk or weight of the 10x42. These are incredibly bright especially in low light or at dusk. The high quality is apparent in every aspect. They are compact enough to fit perfectly in my Domke bag's outer side pocket while still in the case. The size is perfect for travel so I will never feel the need to leave these home.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Excellent fit and finish, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: My requirement was for a powerful pair of binoculars for general bird and wildlife observation. They needed to give me a good, clear image even in low light and yet be light enough to wear round my neck for long periods (often with heavy camera gear slung across my shoulder); and small enough for casual use - travelling or just out for a walk. As I wear glasses I needed binoculars with good eye relief. And I wanted reasonably close focus.
Pros: Easy to Use, Excellent in Low Light, Great Resolution, Nice Features and Settings
