Summary: Well, I saved up cash for these. It took time and it was worth the wait. Deer season in three weeks and I wanted a very good sight picture. From all the research I did, I felt a wider field of view can be important for getting on game. I tried the Zeiss Conquest HD at Cabelas as well as these. Personal preference made me choose Swarovski. I was impressed also by the better warranty. I have a Vortex Sidewinder 10x42 and Nikon Action 16x52 which are fine.
Summary: the new swarovski cl binocular is the perfect tool for any viewing. it fits the hands well and is light enough to carry all day. the optics are top notch with exceptional clarity and focus. i recommend it to anyone looking for the best.
Summary: Outstanding binocular. I bow hunt and determining the horns of a distant animal requires a high quality glass. I used Nikon 10X compacts for years with good results but had heard the reviews of the Swarovski line. Sorry Nikon, but the Swarovskis are head and shoulders better. Excellent clarity and compactness. No comparison, they are in a league by themselves.
Excerpt: My new binoculars arrived a few days before the Challenger Space Shuttle flew over the San Francisco Bay Area on the back of the 747. The view I had was CLEAR and crisp. It made a history making experience even more memorable.
Excerpt: I started shopping expecting to walk out with a pair of binoculars for about $150. But then I tried a pair for 500, and then these for $+. Fortunately my wife was with me and when she got the chance to compare, it was clear that we'd walk out with the Swarovski Companion CL. A lot to spend, but if you are going to use binoculars, the quality really shines through. Now - 1 week later and 1 week before leaving for a two week trip to Ireland they were dropped on concrete.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
