Excerpt: Fantastic optics with ability to clearly spot and see buoys on the Chesapeake from long distances! Slightly heavy, but the view is well worth the extra weight. Definitely a great purchase for on the water!
Summary: I purchased the Steiner binoculars because I was looking for a pair of high end binouclars. These are a very well designed and made pair of binoculars with rubberized coating and excellent optics. I am very pleased with the quality and the purchase price.
Summary: I watch the property at night through the upstairs window. Seeing the deer is awesome! There is a 160 class buck coming into the back yard in the a.m. light weight and just enough power that image is steady, and, did I mention the night vision?!
Excerpt: I use these on our boat and to look at the night sky. I have never owned good binoculars but compared to other el cheapo's I've used these are very nice. Images are bright, clear, and the sports focus works very well. I like the fact once set I don't have to refocus. They appear very well built and I expect them to last a long time.
Summary: Purchased this binocular because I knew that Steiner are top quality optics, I was not wrong, they are great. The view is crystal clear, no focus adjustment needed once set up, makes for quick spotting for what I am looking at. They are a bit on the heavy side, but they are very durable, and I can see why they are Military grade optics.
Summary: If you are a boater (sail, power, oars) you shouldn't go out without a pair of bino's, Every boater should have one , i highly recommend this product clarity & sharpness superb, if not these you can get the Western Marine version manufactured by Steiner for them.

Summary: This is why Porro prism binos rule. Far better 3 dimensional image quality than with the "flat" roof prism binos. Extensive depth of field helps avoid the constant hassle of focusing all the time, another advantage of this Porro design. Finally the shape fits my hands better than the skinny Porro prism binos and the center of gravity stays close to you since they're wide instead of being long.
Pros: Excellent depth of field (wide range in focus), great 3 dimensional image, best low light binocular used so far
