Summary: I bought these because I've had a pair of Steiner 8 x 30 Firebird II binoculars for years and they are easy to use and have been very dependable. Like my Firebird IIs, the 10 x 50 Rallye binoculars were, I thought, reasonably priced for their power and quality and had all of the features that I like about my Firebird II: eye pieces individually adjust for focus, the front lens covers (not shown in all the pictures on line) are attached to the binocular body so they do...
Pros: Steiner quality, waterproof, ease of focus, dust covers
Summary: I don't actually own a pair of these binocs. I use them everyday however at my job. I'm an air traffic controller and thees binoculars have been in every tower I have been in and they work great. Automatic focus, adjustable eyecups, and a strong sturdy build. I definitely recommend.
If you want/need high quality binoculars, these are worth investigating!

Summary: I bought these for a close friend's birthday. I own a pair, and he has commented how clear they are. Watched eBay for quite a whle, and was able to buy a set at a great price. Steiner's quality is legendary, and well worth paying extra for.
Summary: Got these Steiner police a couple yrs ago. a bit bulky/heavy but excellent if you don't have to carry'em. I leave mine in the truck. I have at least 3 other pair ( different brands) but these are the best. A guy at Cabela's told me that you pay for minitures. Best buy is the large bino's if you don't need small. he was right.
