Summary: We bought these binoculars to use on an African safari. What a fantastic purchase! They are lightweight, easy to use, and worked perfectly for the trip. We were able to spot and focus in on animals and the ease of adjustment made it possible for the two of us to share the one pair of binoculars,...
Excerpt: "It was a tough choice...but they are that good!" I recently visited the Eagle Optics store in Madison to compare several moderately priced glasses that I was considering. I went there fully expecting the Eagle Optics Ranger 8 X 32 to win my heart, and in many ways it did: Wonderfully ergonomic...
Excerpt: I have been looking for a good pair of bins for birding. I needed something light, I already own some Olympus 8x42 which are Japanese made and really nice. The Olympus are a tad too heavy to carry along with my camera gear.
Summary: Better than anticipated. Wider view with glasses than my faithful Leica 10x32. Lighter. Instead of using them as back up as intented, they are now my primary binoculars. Let's see how they last.
Summary: They arrived within 48 hrs of ordering, superb. Although not the most expensive binoculars these are by far the best I have owned. Excellent quality of build and the ergonomics allow ease of use with one hand if required. Being water and fog proof just adds to the spec.
Summary: I bought these binoculars to replace an old pair of Leica 10x32 Trinovids, and they are excellent - especially for the price. I was finding it a little difficult to keep the image through the 10x Leicas steady enough, but didn't want to go down to 8X for - mostly - birdwatching.
