Small for your bag

Volkan Ates, B&H Photo
21 July 2014
  • Excerpt: I have Nikon Action binocular for bird watching and carrying it always in my car. however, for sometimes while roaming around the streets of Istanbul, it is not that easy to take with you for watching migrating birds hence Pentax 8x21 is extremely suitable for your bag since it is small but works really well without promising quality. If you need a second / spare one for your daily usage, this is the one with its low price.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight
  • Cons: Not Waterproof

  • Excerpt: I have 2 other 8x21 binoculars and the new Pentax binoculars are much better. These binoculars can't be beat for the price and are excellent enough that I have no desire to even look for a better pair of binoculars.

Perfect companion for the outdoors

Major Scrutinizer, B&H Photo
15 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I use it during hikes to the mountain. I have spotted slithering rattlesnakes with ease to make sure I avoid them. There are these birds always fighting in the sky just above my house and I finally got to see them up close. At night, the moon is also a fun thing to watch with the binoculars. The wife uses them to spot fruit in our garden. And I can't wait to take them to my next Golf tournament.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Non-slip, Quality Lenses, Quick, Strong Construction

Best Binocular for watching stage

Musical Watcher, B&H Photo
19 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I was looking for the binocular for watching musical performance from the most behind seat in the theater that capacity is 2,500. My previous binocular have x10 magnification lens and sometimes I had a problem of shaking view with it. And this previous one was a bit heavy and I could not hold it for a long time. So, I wanted binocular with x7 or x8 magnification lens, and is lightweight. This Pentax 8x21 UCF R fit to my desire.

Great choice!

Donna, artist and photographer, B&H Photo
19 September 2013
  • Excerpt: I'm leaving for Africa soon and will take a lot of camera gear. I didn't want to weigh myself down with a heavy binocular but wanted to have a decent one for the trip. Read the favorable reviews and took a chance on the Pentax. I'm not a binocular expert, but I'm very satisfied with the feel, the quality, the ease of use, and the light weight. I'm very happy with my choice.
