Summary: I bought a pair of these 6 years ago (2008) on holiday for a spot of bird watching from the house we were staying in. I wanted something compact but with excellent optics. I went to a high end photo and lens shop and tried out a good half dozen sets of binoculars and took advice.
My husband is exceptionally pleased at the quality of these lightweight

Summary: My husband is exceptionally pleased at the quality of these lightweight, waterpoof binoculars, bought as a replacement for our very old Pentax bins which had broken. They are ideal to take on holiday, not taking up much baggage space or weight allowance.
Summary: After doing research I found these Binoculars most suited to my needs. They are great and would have given them 5 stars. Pentax advertise these Binoculars with a warranty of 30 years only if the card is stamped and dated by the seller, which it wasn't!
Summary: Good clear images, compact but sturdy - evidently well built as you'd expect from Pentax. Minor quibbles are that the case doesn't give much confidence that it will protect the binoculars from a fall, and neither the case nor the lens cap attach to the strap so you have to find somewhere to put them...
