Summary: I bought the green model of these, but except for the color they are the same. Thus, after seeing so many five-star reviews, I feel a bit of warning is appropriate. I had bought mine mainly because they can be folded up well, and thus can be used by kids with narrow space between their eyes. However, if that is not a requirement, one is way better served with an Opticron Trailfinder 3WP, also 8x25. That model is lighter, and it has a much closer minimum focus.

A major problem with the Adventurer is that anyone who needs to keep their glasses on while viewing will only get a very restricted field of view.
Summary: Delighted with these binoculars. They are replacing a similar pair that I have had for years and had got quite a battering over the years. They are a comfortable size for me. I use them, mostly, when I go to rugby matches.

Summary: Arrived very promptly, bought because it has one of the widest IPD of any binocular thisprpice rnge Retractable eye cups a bonus, twist to extend not the usual folding rubber eyecups. Beasonable case whch looks like it should last a bit. bright field of view and holds the focus well - I've has similar but cheaper folding binocs where the two eye tubes didn't track focus very well (differing dead zones for the two tubes) A good buy at this price point, I'd thoroughly...
Superb for sports and wildlife. Excellent quality for the price.

Summary: I have been looking for my first pair of Binoculars for a while now, for use at the Olympics this year and for a trip to Canada next year. After much research on the net i thought a pair of Nikon Action VII 8x40 CF's would be suitable, although i had some concern about the weight and size.
Summary: Being a keen 'birder' for over 45 years, I have used many pairs of binoculars, some costing £00s. These are equal to the best I have ever used. For the price, they are truly astounding value with the addition advantage that they are very sturdy a will easily fit into a large coat pocket
