Summary: These binoculars are excellent for viewing as they are lightweight and have good optics. Unfortunately they are not robust, and my binoculars, purchased 9 months ago, are no longer usable. The left part has partly detached from the right, I could not see how this happened but remembered I had them in their case on my belt in the car and probably squeezed them whilst getting out.

Summary: These binoculars are magnificent. I use them for watching sport as well as wildlife - the design allows in plenty of light for a crisp image and unlike stronger lenses the view remains steady, even on the coldest of days when your hands are numb.
Summary: Bought this model as they were recommended by Which. They arrived the next day. They are just what we needed for our forthcoming coming holiday. Compact, lightweight and easy to use, with clear instructions.
Summary: Pros: Clear, bright image. They are light weight so easy to carry, compact, easy to focus, feel solid. Cons: lens caps are easy to lose - but that goes for all binoculars. After a couple of months use, there was a click while focusing and the collimation was completely out (centre on an object with one lens and the other lens shows the object at the side of the viewing area). I returned them through Amazon for a full refund and I'm getting the same ones again.
Summary: I bought these binoculars for bird spotting for which 8x is the best magnification factor to use. They are well made and light weight. With the 25mm objective lens diameter the PC 1's light gathering ability is perfect for spotting birds in dark shrubbery etc as well as for use in bright conditions.Thoroughly recommended as a mid-priced pair of binoculars for bird spotting and general use.
