... Heronry at a range of 200 metres and give excellent clarity and give me no problems
13 March 2015
Summary: The binoculars are being used to observe a Heronry at a range of 200 metres and give excellent clarity and give me no problems , even though I wear varifocal spectacles. They are light and are no problem when worn around the neck for long periods.
Summary: No expert but these came highly recommended. The image is very crisp and almost gives a 3D affect. I've only looked at birds and some landscape and have been very impressed with the detail I've seen. The night sky is what I really bought theses bins for but thus far the clouds have not been kind.
Excerpt: This is my first personal binocular. Although I'm familiar with celestron 15x70 and 25x100, they just weren't in my price range. I have used Nikon Action 50 mm binos, and honestly , there's not much difference in these two, and you get Olympus 50 mm at a lower price.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: We have a bit of a sea view from our house and I bought these to look at passing craft and birds in the garden. I had originally intended getting 8x40 as I thought the 10x50 might be a bit too bulky. I certainly wouldn't call them compact but they are great for my purposes.
Summary: Got them for stargazing as the aperture is quite appropriate. Really impressed. See loads more stars with them. Optical quality is top notch. Light enough to hold comfortably and tripod mountable with a seperately sold bracket.
Summary: A very reliable pair of binoculars for birdwatching and stargazing. I do not know much about binoculars but wanted a pair of binoculars, which were light enough to carry around generally and that would fulfill my limited use at a reasonable price. These are great for both.
