Summary: I purchased these binoculars to take on a cruise to Alaska. The zoom mechanism is very poor quality, the resolution is poor and they are very hard to get focused. I have a pair of Minolta binoculars that I paid the same price for, but they are heavier. The Minoltas are 100 times better than these.
Summary: Getting the alignment of the two eyepieces right is hard, and unless it's perfect, you see **nothing** - there's hardly any tolerance in it at all. And neither of us could do it following the instructions.
Summary: BOUGHT THESE TO REPLACE 25 YEAR OLD PRAKTIKA SPORT BINOCULARS AS THEY SEEMED TO BE A LIKE FOR LIKE SPECIFICATION PURCHASE , I'M GLAD I DIDN'T PAY FULL PRICE OR WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN WERE TO START WITH MY DISAPPOINTMENT .
Summary: Not had much opportunity to use them yet but all indications are that they are perfect for "just-in-case" people who always like to be prepared. Light enough and small enough to have with you on all occasions; easy to use and useful for all-round viewing from a distance. Get some.
