Great equipment

photogafloat, reviews.nikonsportoptics.com
19 February 2014
  • Summary: Have used 14x40s for four years and love them. I use them primarily on a small boat and the stabilization is unbelievable. You couldn't dream of this level of magnification without it. I have found these binos to be everything as advertised. They are waterproof and very durable. Aboard my boat they endure some fairly rough treatment in tough conditions and hold up well.

Don't Buy These Binoculars

Ron, reviews.nikonsportoptics.com
12 July 2013
  • Summary: These binoculars are not "waterproof" The battery unit rests on the outside of the unit and internally corroded to the point the AA battery clips dropped out in less than 2 years. This occurred while these binoculars were turned off & sitting in a drawer of the main cabin of an air conditioned 42ft boat. Other cameras & flashlights in the same drawer had no corrosion problems at all.

Not one adverse comment from my rescue service mates who have tried them

  • Summary: I could not believe how how stable these binos are. Probably would have gone up a magnification or two if i had known. Well designed with all the necessary buttons at your finger tips while holding them. Cannot recommend Optic Zone highly enough.

Binoculars don't get better than this.

3 August 2012
  • Summary: Excellent optics and the stabilization works well. The refurbished product looks good as new, and at around half the list price it's a bargain. Minor con: bulky, won't fit in your pocket.

Best Binocular Product I have owned

Herb, B&H Photo
14 December 2011
  • Excerpt: I will be using this product on my boat this coming summer. I have used it on land, and it blows away my other binoculars. (Steiner 7X50 ect).<br />The stabilization capabilities are unbelievable. Most faraway views become almost &quot;Rock Steady&quot; as compared to other units. The only comparison can be made with a unit and tripod arrangement. My only &quot;Con&quot; about this product is the weight.
  • Pros: Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Heavy

Excellent, especially for marine use

  • Excerpt: I needed binocs for use on a boat to eliminate movement, these are perfect. Well worth the money. For land use the fine shake setting is good too but they really shine for marine use.
  • Pros: Waterproof

Outstanding invention.

bbc6612, Ebay
2 December 2011
  • Summary: Awesome beyond belief. So clear, bright, powerful and stable. And I mean stable. I expected some darkening of the view because of the 14 power, but there is none that I could notice. Maybe a little heavy, but what would you expect with all that is going on inside.

Works as specified

Bill, B&H Photo
19 June 2011
  • Excerpt: Sharp clear images. Noticeable difference when using stabilization. Comes with rubber lens caps for ocular lenses but no lens caps for front lenses. Because 14 x magnification difficult to view objects closer than 75 yards.
  • Pros: Quality Lenses, Waterproof
