Summary: purchased these after reading several reveiws and they are brilliant..nice size and managable in smaller hands..I fancied the NIKON SHE model (Not available in uk)until a professional user highlighted the fact that these were the same binoculars under all the fancy cammouflage (fancied myself as...
Summary: These are small and light enough that I never leave them at home. All other 10*40 or 10*36 (rare) binoculars are 20mm longer which at this size is a considerable difference. They only have half a stop less light gathering ability than 10*40s which is well worth the trade off for the smaller size.
Summary: Being a Nikon camera and lens user I tried not to be biased! However, after trying these bins out I had to have them. Pros. Sturdy, well made. Light enough not to suffer from the shakes but there is the option for a tripod adaptor. I bought the opticron. Cons. Front caps could be better.
Summary: Not knowing what binoculars to buy these were very good for using when out hiking and seeing wildlife around. My son loves to bird watch and he found they worked well for seeing more than just one thing. They took in a wider range than just narrowing in on one object too.
