Summary: I love these binos. They are an incredible bang for the buck. Light, compact, fantastic clarity and low light gathering capability. They are bullet proof they show no signs of wear. I reccomend the 12 power if you rifle hunt in the Rockies. Nikon knocked it out of the park with these.
Summary: I bought the 10x42 about a month ago and am very pleased so far. The 3-position adjustable eye relief works great, is easy to use, and stays in position. The focus is also very fast and the glass is definitely more clear than my old 10x50 Bushnells. We will see how they hold up 10 years from now.
Summary: We spend a lot of time at the ocean and I've always wanted a good pair of binoculars. I looked a long time before I purchased my Monarch 5's. I am super happy with them, but Nikon could make a better case for their product, and the eye cup covers are too loose.
Summary: after years of using a pair of bausch n lomb 3x minis I decided to try an 8x and what a difference.compact enough to carry all day and more than enough clarity in all conditions.the one drawback are the lens caps but not a hurdle worth grumbling about.
Summary: I received these binoculars as a recent Christmas gift. I used these on a late doe hunt in our state. The difference between the Monarch 5's and my previous pair is unbelievable. I would definitely recommend these binoculars to everyone. The clarity and light gathering qualities are awesome!
Summary: These Monarch 5 binoculars are sharp, and allow a lot of light in. They are so much better than my older binoculars. I did notice that looking into the sun's glare it was hard to pick out deer, but most optics would struggle with that challenge.
