Comment on Nikon Stabileyes 16 x 32

Nelson, B&H Photo
20 September 2011
  • Excerpt: I look at the scenery and the town through the window of my high rise flat. I also take it when travelling for much the same purpose. The magnification is as quoted and the tradeoff between magnification, light and weight is satisfactory. The stabilizer works OK. There is a risk that if the batteries go flat and I or a friend turn on the image stabilizer, something will break and having it fixed will be problematical from here.
  • Pros: Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Heavy

16 x 32 Nikon StabilEyes VR Binocular

Cambriaman, B&H Photo
30 June 2011
  • Excerpt: These glasses are excellent. The image is exceptionally clear. The stabilization system is the best I have experienced. I live on the Pacific Ocean in California with a 180 degree ocean view from an elevation of 200 feet. These glasses provide me with a clear, easy to focus image of the whales, the otters, the dolphins and seals as they pass. Sea birds can be seen diving for fish or resting on the kelp beds or riding the waves.
  • Pros: Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof
  • Cons: Heavy
