simple and straightforward

  • Excerpt: We already enjoy 8x and 10x birding binoculars, which are fine for birding. We wanted a light weight 12x that we could handle easily without tripods, etc. for longer distance viewing. These are perfect for what we needed... water proof, decent optics, close focus, light weight, a great warranty, and a really affordable cost. No one can go wrong with this binocular.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses

Exceptional Binocular!

Randy S., B&H Photo
30 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I use these for watching birds at the feeders and beyond, wildlife on the lake, and fishing boats out on the ocean. And even for watching waves smash into some rock islands five miles out-to-sea. They work very well and I am completely satisfied with them. I am particularly impressed with how clear and bright everything looks. And with how well they work for short distances.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof
  • Cons: No front lens covers

Awesome Specs

Zing, B&H Photo
9 April 2013
  • Excerpt: Compared right up there with my brother-in-laws Leopold Gold Rings. Close focusing was their only negative. The Gold Rings can focus up to approx 4 feet. Brightness and sharpness of image was just as good from what I could tell. The Prostaff's are a very good product for the price.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof
  • Cons: None

Great Optics

Bass Trout Master, B&H Photo
21 January 2013
  • Excerpt: This product is great for fishing. I always like taking binoculars when I go fishing. It is great not to have to worry about getting water in them. Nature presents beautiful scenery and animals when I go fishing and this allows me to enjoy the whole picture. They are compact and comfortable on the eyes. They weigh a little more than my Trvelites, but the waterproof seals are worth it. Their size is slightly larger than my Travelites.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Little Heavier Than Some
