Summary: I have only had the chance to use these binoculars briefly since getting them yesterday however I am impressed with the build quality, comfort of use and great clear images they produce. I was expecting them to be heavy, they are not, but have a solid feel about them, they focus up close, closer than the 5 meters in the specs, a fine set of binos at a good price.
Summary: I bought this product and saw a lot of people whingeing about loosing the caps. Can happen to most. So I bought these and find them excellent! So now to solve the problem before I loose those caps. I ordered 10 of the 25mm Black cable tie bases that have self adhesive applied. I ran a black felt tip around the edge, to colour out the white adhesive sides and stuck each one to the centre of lens caps.
Summary: I have an excellent pair of 7×50s that I use for sailing but I wanted a higher magnification for bird watching. The Nikons are just the job, with good optics, good depth of field, close focusing, easy balance and, with one minor exception, great build standard. At just over £100 these have to be a mega-bargain. The two criticisms are the weight, but I expected that, and the inexplicably cheap and nasty lens covers that won't stay on and will soon be lost, I think.
Summary: these binoculars are very good for the price , with clear bright images and no distortion or flareing in bright light.i would recommend these binoculars to anyone looking for a reasonably priced quality waterproof 10 x 50 binocular.
