Excerpt: I have two other larger Nikons (8x42) and wanted something lighter. Also wanted to try 10x but was worried about shaking. These are great. The 10x is much better for birding and the shaking is minimal with the extra 2x.

Summary: It is identical to its HG L normal version. Same optics and same weather sealed as well as the Tank bulit quality. FMC coating eliminates ghost shadow. It is sharp edge to edge, though it is somehow not as sharp as Lecia Ultravid.
