Summary: I used my binoculars for viewing wildlife observed while hiking and backpacking and while attending concerts and sporting events. Unfortunately, over time the hinges became loose causing the optics to misalign.
Summary: The binocs are very compact and have good (not great) quality glass. However, you better treat them like a creampuff. They get knocked out of alignment VERY easily, so if you are a serious hunter/outdoorsman, make sure they don't bump into anything.
Summary: Bought this before a trip to Yellowstone, and when I got there, really wished I had ponied up for a larger set of binoculars. These are definitely compact, but because of the small size, it's tough to hold still. Very difficult to keep your sights set on wildlife.
Excerpt: After having a pair of travelite Nikon binoculars for years (they finally accumulated dust on the interior optics)I thought I would get these since they were waterproof. Right out of the box they were not as clear as my old pair.
