Summary: Previously had a pair of Opticron 8x32 these were very good and easy to carry, however these Minox are superb, the only drawback is that when compared to the opticron these are much larger so you need to bear that in mind if you order the Minox.
Summary: I really wanted to own the Zeiss conquest. Tried them but there wasn't enough eye relief for the non glasses user. Such a shame from an established maker. I now have the German made Minox Hg 8x43. The same Schott glass used for Zeiss. 21 multi coating to each lens. Magnesium alloy frame and designed by VW. Optics are superb. You would require extremely good vision to discern any difference between this glass and a pair costing three times the price.
Summary: So far these bins have done what it said on the tin.I,m no expert on bins, so I reviewed on line, as it would be impossible to see all the range of bins available in one shop,or for that matter many shops.I then went for the best as recommended.
Summary: The optical performance is outstanding, and the light weight make them a pleasure to use. I purchased them for my wife, who really likes them, and at times I use them in preference to my Leica. Only complaint is that the carrying case is just too small to take them with the rubber eyepiece caps fitted.
