Summary: I have owned a variety of binoculars over the years: Praktica, Swift and Pentax. I was looking at the Leica brand but found them too expensive. My Father used to use Minox film cameras and I remembered the quality of those, so I started researching their binoculars.
Summary: I was looking for a small, light weight, but quality pair of binoculars, and these certainly fill the bill. I'll be taking a trip to Borneo this summer, where getting up close & personal with varied wildlife will require some clear and relatively powerful binoculars.
Summary: Great brand, excellent build quality. Most importantly fit in the jacket pocket and not too imposing around the neck so I take them everywhere unlike a larger pair which would be cumbersome to carry and more often than not left in the car or at home.
Summary: Build quality is very good. In daylight , the image is bright and very sharp. The size is what I would call slightly above pocketable size, They look and perform like much more expensive binoculars. Very pleased and I would recommend these binoculars.
Summary: Excellent pocket binocular, for the price probably the best available. I nomally use a Leica 10x32 binocular but for convenience the MINOX unit is superb. Quality construction and the optics are almost as good as the Leica, for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended.
