Summary: I read a review on these glasses but I think different as the eye stops that are on the glasses fall down and the thin strap is so awkward to put on that after four attempts I gave up. The top eye caps are alright but again like I said I could not get the thin strap on and did not think it was worth it to tie the eye caps and have them dangling on the strap.
Summary: There are thousands of 10x25 / 10x40 binoculars out there for less than £50 and conversely there are thousands of others at £500 plus so why "only" spend £100 +/- or indeed why pay more than one has to? The answer is both questions is essentially one of clarity and contrast - with these Luger binoculars one gets a no compromise as to clarity and contrast view out to a really good distance.
Summary: I purchased these binoculars to upgrade from the "bog standard" cheap ebay ones I had bought years ago. I've had them for a couple of days and am pleased to say that they have fulfilled my expectations. I use them for deer stalking so gaining light in tricky conditions is very much a prime concern. These are brilliant - when looking out with the naked eye what you may see could be 2/3 times darker than when viewing with these binoculars.
