Leica Ultravid HD 8x32 Binocular

Yvonne, binocularreviews.org
21 February 2015
  • Excerpt: Excellent Customer Service , Great Product I purchased the Leica Ultravid HD 8x32 Binocular for birding. I wanted something lighter for my birding walks, and I knew the weight of the 10x42s was more than I wanted hanging around my neck for long spells. I knew I wanted the Leica optics I'd been enjoying from always "borrowing " my husband's Leica bins.

  • Excerpt: The combination of size, weight and optical quality makes it an ideal binocular on trips, when you are on longer walks (hunting, photo) with other heavy euipment to carry. Very impressed with the optical quality (I have a few other high quality binoculars from before). No strain on your neck after a long day in the field.

  • Summary: I absolutely love these binoculars and have used them for several years. They are very durable, compact and light weight so that I can wear them all day in the field and not get a neck ache. The focusing mechanisms are smooth and fluid and optics very clear in all light conditions.

Just right

Phil S., Eagle Optics
14 November 2013
  • Summary: I have "face tested" many binoculars and found these to fit my face just right. incredibly bright and crisp optics and much lighter than my very good Vortex binoculars. I enjoy using them when I can snatch them away from my avid birder son!

best hunting binos ever

jc, B&H Photo
12 September 2013
  • Excerpt: I own many quality binos by Swarovski, zeiss and leica, the top of the line stuff in varying magnifications and objective diameters. these are still the "go to" pair for me for African hunting, for almost all hunting actually, and I bought them the year they came out. still about the brightest out there, or close to it, and PH's are continually amazed at the brightness and clarity----they often have to wear heavier binos with greater magnification (for trophy...

leica binoculars

scott, Eagle Optics
18 July 2010
  • Summary: I have owned many binoculars in the past. The Leica 8x32 hd binoculars are the best of the best. The Swarovski's are a very close second. I've used the Swarovski 8x32 this year on a brown bear hunt before I purchaced the Leica's. For me size and weight put the Leica's ahead of the Swarovski's EL's. Once you own a pair of Leica's you will never buy anything else.

Great Product

David, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I am an avid bird watcher, and could not be any happier with the new HD version. I have owned the earlier Ultravid, and the EL's. Neither can compare. The size and weight are wonderful. The brightness is unbelieveable. The price is high but worth it.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Price
