Summary: I do archery and I needed a pair of binoculars so that I could score my arrows in a target up to 100 metres away. I didn't want to spend a small fortune and as Celestron make some great telescopes I thought I would take a chance on these, my only concern was that they are so very cheap. I was very pleasantly surprised when I took these out for the first time. They feel really well made and focus is very sharp, better than some much more expensive models I tried locally.
Summary: Bought these to take on holiday needed to be small portable but weas looking for something a bit more powerful than the usual small pocket ones. Quality was more than expected, good distance. only bad thing was the case it came with was a bit thin could have been a bit better to match the quality of the binoculars.
Summary: Slightly larger than a pair of 12x25 I have but the lenses do look so much larger which is obviously good for letting in more light. Seem to be good quality optics and I doubt a £100 or £200 pair would be 8 or 16 times better than these. Question of durability and how long cheaper binoculars actually last but I'd be far less annoyed if these fail after a few years than I would be if a £200 went belly-up. Collimation can eventually be an issue with bins.
Summary: I bought these specifically for a trip to watch France V England at Stade de France last Sunday. Ostensibly to appreciate the finer points of the game but they were pretty good for checking out the fit players as well! They are really good for the money, clear vision and certainly "up close". It was difficult for me to get a stable view, it kept shaking but I think that was more to do with me shivering with nerves and cold that with the binoculars themselves.
Summary: Excellent product. Small, light-weight compact and user friendly. Small enough to slip into a pocket and light enough to hang comfortably around your neck for long periods. Great focus, powerful lens and clarity of vision. We chose for the purpose of amateur star gazing into the night sky whilst out in the country or on holiday etc and the view of the moon was astonishing! Much better than a basic telescope.
Summary: I dropped my last pair of binoculars while climbing a tree and they were destroyed beyond repair. These ones seemed good and very reasonably priced and that's what attracted me to them. The clarity is excellent and I had no problems adjusting the focus and best of all I no longer need to climb the tree in the back garden to see what my neighbour is up to as I can now see right in to his house from the comfort of my upstairs lavatory.
