Summary: I met Celestron through photography and know they make good glass. When I decided to upgrade my standard 7 X 35 binoculars I looked at several manufacturers including Celestron. Their reputation may have given them an edge, but the reviews supported that well.
Summary: When I bought these 3 yrs back it was around 4.7k and the clarity and field of view is very good. At 30X your hands needs to be very steady and your object needs to be atleast 50 mtrs away if not you will get an out of focus view and may think that the binocular is defective.
Summary: It does what it is bought for, Images are clear at 10x when u zoom in the images are not very sharp at 30x. but for birdwatching is pretty good and considering the price of the product its worth buying. Align the eye piece to fix the double image problem.
