Excerpt: I use these binoculars to occasionally sky gaze. They perform as advertised, but a good tripod is recommended. At 4 lbs, they are just a little too heavy to use without. I had no problem with the focusing procedure--a little time consuming for each individual, but manageable.
Excerpt: These binoculars are well made, the barrels seem the be aluminum with s rubber coating, the frame is also metal. The collimation was good on the set I received and the lenses seem to be clear and made from glass no visiable marks or bad spots in the lenses.
Summary: These have incredible brightness and field of view. It's tough to hold, they just about need a tripod, not quite. But for this magnification that's to be expected. Easy to focus, and actually not "as" big as they look in the picture, definitely usable/portable. Come in a nice case.
Excerpt: The Celestron 25 x 70 SkyMaster was my very first purchase for stargazing, and I am very happy with them. There are infinitely more stars when you look through these binoculars. I bought them to view the comet Hartley 2. I had a lot of help finding it, but view it I did!
Pros: Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: The celestron Skymaster 25x70 binocular is more better than I belive and is cheap,I'm used oll time for astronomical viewing, every body need one's I will gift one Celestron SkyMaster 25x70 Binocular to my brother, he will be happy..

Summary: I received these binoculars 5 days ago and they seem very good. Unfortunately at night time from my bedroom I was looking along the horizon at something and I accidentally caught the image of a bright light a few hundred metres away.
