Excerpt: After researching several brands of zoom binoculars with similar or equivalent specs, I decided to go with the Celestrons. I am very pleased with the build quality and optics. The tripod mounting attachment is solid.
Summary: very disappointed, the zoom feature is useless above 30x.complete waste of money.I bought binoculars to do some stargazing and viewing other things from my porch. The binoculars are good at 20 to 30 x magnification, the problem is once you start using the zoom it doesn't focus very well.
Summary: We bought them for our son the Marine, but they are much to a heavy for younger grandkids. It was great for the adults to use on our family camping trip to view the distant mountain peaks and also for gazing up at the night sky.
Excerpt: I bought this for my son to view wildlife and limited astronomy viewing. For the money spent on this set of binoculars it has good quality lenses. I did notice that it has a good eye relief on the widest setting, but as you zoom in the eye relief gets really short.
