Summary: very disappointed, the zoom feature is useless above 30x.complete waste of money.I bought binoculars to do some stargazing and viewing other things from my porch. The binoculars are good at 20 to 30 x magnification, the problem is once you start using the zoom it doesn't focus very well.
Summary: Optics Planet shiped these out perfectly. It was double-boxed. The zoom SkyMaster is of high quality, way above the $108 price tag. When you focus at 100x, it stays in focus throughout the entire zoom range. Field of view and brightness are very fine at the higher settings. The tripod mount and supplied case are sturdy. When tripod mounted, it's great for watching the stars. Highly recommended.
Pros: sharp at 100x, smooth zoom, good eye relief, reasonably light.
Summary: Good price, exellent quality, at 100x zoom the view zone is small but it is normal for that zoom level. I was imprest with the pack. 1 box with soft items. On it, second box with soft items and on it, the calestron official box with the binocular!!!!
Summary: It was a gift for my son. He loves it! The only thing is that they are heavy to hold and you need a tripod to be able to hold steady. Otherwise shaking hands make it hard to see stars. I would buy this product again! Definitely worth the money.
Summary: The Celestron SkyMaster 20-100 x 70 Binoculars are a great value. The clarity when gazing at the night sky or daytime wildlife is much better than one could reasonhably expect for this price. I prefer to use mine with a tripod to eliminate movement artifact and the significant weight of the binoc's. Besides the optics being excellent, the body is well armored with a rubber coat that is both protective and makes for a firm grip. Controls adjust smoothly and precisely.
