Not quite stable

Ed, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: The tripod stand holder is not centered. center of weight is far front than the tripod stand so that it tends to lean to front. This results shaking left and right when using normal camera tripod. It made me feel motion sick even though I just observed Jupiter stand still.
  • Pros: Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Unstable

  • Excerpt: These are light weight and make a nice 'grab and go' pair of binocs for tracking aircraft as well as locating astronomical objects. I bought these to replace my Nikon 10x50 so the magnification is good.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Poor Construction

Decent and affordable binoculars for everyday use

M. Enkenberg, Amazon

  • Summary: I purchased these binoculars to observe the night sky and occasional birds and other sights. The first problem was with collimation which was set incorrectly, or the package had received a blow which had affected the setting.

nikon-boy, Ciao
11 January 2010
  • Excerpt: I brought these Binoculars last year purposely for astronomy, The sky at night magazines "best buy" initially caught my attention, so I drove down to my local binocular & telescope store and tested them in daylight, I got a bright clear view focusing was easy, they were a bit on the heavy side...
  • Pros: bright clear image, great value for money, perfect for astronomy
  • Cons: a bit heavy,

Too many stars!

lordbolt, Ciao

  • Excerpt: I would say that these are a pretty good entry level pair of binoculars for someone just starting to explore the night skies. The field of view is wide enough so that with a bit of practice you can know what constellations you are looking at, but the magnification is strong enough to blow your mind...
  • Pros: Good field of view, but with reasonable magnification .
  • Cons: Weight, and eyecups letting light in from the side .

Ich bin ... durchaus positiv überrascht - Celestron 15x70

  • Summary: Teil drei: Heute nun kam das Fernglas vom Baader Service zurück.
