Summary: The item appears to be well built and have nice features including the retractible eye guards for use with glasses. The lens covers are a nice touch. Controls worked well and the focus is quite sharp for a product of this price range. The neck strap is a bit thin and flimsy.
Pros: good quality for price point nice size not too big or small easy to use controls
Cons: neck strap is thin and a bit cheap slight distortion on outer edges of the glass.
Summary: I have been experimenting with my new Celestron Nature DX 8X32 Binoculars since they were delivered a day earlier than promised. I had been looking for a pair of reasonably priced quality binoculars for some time when I came across a review of "Budget Bins" binoculars by the Cornell Lab of...
Pros: outstanding quality at a low price light weigh and comfortable to hold outstanding resolution& clarity.
Excerpt: I was hoping to get the 8x42 but settled on this one and it does the job. My daughter carries the compact super zoom Cannon SX50 HS around her neck with this thing and it does not weight her down while birding.
Excerpt: I purchased the Nature DX Celestron Binocular so that I would have a pair to used while my husband used his Celestron Granite binocular. I've used them at a sporting event and sitting along the bay watching anything that moved. They worked well with my glasses and were not to heavy.
Pros: Close Focus, Quality Lenses, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: This binocular is great. Have neutral colour tone (Not yellowish like most non phase coated roof prism) View is excellent in low light condition, 8X magnification is good and stable for hand held. Noticable chromatic aberation but not so severe. Good choice for compact roof binocular.
