Excerpt: I had read a review of these from a study at Cornell University and bought them w/o trying them in a store. No problems whatsoever. They feel great in my hands, very smooth focus, no problems with using them while wearing my glasses. They have greatly exceeded my expectations. Additionally they are a fantastic value.
Excerpt: We have Ruby throats and barred owls to watch within 100 feet. This binocular is well worth the money. See the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology 2013 review of binoculars under $200. ([@]) They are correct about this binocular and B&H is a great source for this product. I received the Celestron cleaning pen as a "discount!
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Pleasure To Hold And Use, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: Mainly used for bird watching on the front porch, they are rugged and we leave them out unless we expect heavy weather. At this price we allow the grandchildren to use them too. My wife says the size is perfect and they fit her hand and come to the eye easily. We have spent more for lesser quality.
Well made, nice specs, great price, lens covers are a joke

Summary: Was looking for some good, waterproof and rugged binos and I've found these. Well made, coated glass and won't cost you arm'n'leg - got other binos from the same company which I use to watch stars, etc. and they're not bad either. Lens covers are a joke(but still better then no covers) - have to agree with others / hence 4 stars.
Summary: While looking for a new set of binoculars over the last few months I tried 2 or 3 models up to $350 in price. I kept returning them because the quality did not seem to match the price. The Celestron binoculars were the first pair that I tried that truly feel like great value for the money. I am definitely keeping them. I have used them outside with perfect results.
Summary: This is my first non-toy bino which I plan to use for years. The price is good for people who enters the domain of birdviewing and stargazing. The image is crystal clear. The moon looks so beautiful. I can see at least 10 times more stars than using naked eyes. 8x is good enough for me because of the image quality. I use DLSR cameras often, so I personally think my hands are steady, but by looking up I can only see clearly for about dozens of seconds.
Summary: Only used a few times at the moment, good quality image through lenses These binoculars have s good feel about them. They seem to be good value for money. The only negative i can find is the lens protective covers are a bit poor.
