amazing budget binoculars

  • Excerpt: These were an upgrade from some inexpensive pair of bushnell 10x50s. Wow! What an improvement! Despite minor dispersion around the image these produce an incredible view for the price. The field of view is substantial at 7.4° and the min focal distance of 6 feet makes birding at short ranges exciting. Focusing in on a bird that's body length away is quite stunning. I'd recommend these 100% to any serious birder on a budget.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Minor Image Dispersion

  • Excerpt: Great Image and Excellent Value I recently bought the Celestron Nature DX 8x42 Binocular for my girlfriend for birding based on the reviews from Cornell's website. Prepared by the outstanding reviews, I was still amazed at the clear, bright image produced by these small, light and reasonably priced binoculars. They are perfect for beginners and can be used with or without eye glasses equally well.

Excellent Binocular Value

  • Excerpt: I have a pair of Swarovski binoculars that cost 10x what these did, but I bought these to have a second pair for an African safari and was not disappointed. I honestly preferred the Celestron binoculars because they had a wider field of vision, a slightly larger image, and were just as clear and easy to use.Since then, I have used them for several football games and can literally see the players expressions and can keep track of the ball whatever crazy play they may...

Great binocular for the money!

  • Excerpt: I recently purchased these binoculars based on many positive online reviews. I am really impressed with them due to the features offered, crystal clear optics, lightweight design and the great sale price. Focusing is just right - not to tight or too loose. Good long eye relief for eyeglass wearers and really close focus just add to the package. They are well-balanced in your hands for long periods of use and appear to be very well built.

  • Excerpt: I had read a review of these from a study at Cornell University and bought them w/o trying them in a store. No problems whatsoever. They feel great in my hands, very smooth focus, no problems with using them while wearing my glasses. They have greatly exceeded my expectations. Additionally they are a fantastic value.

Best bird watching for the price

  • Excerpt: Mainly used for bird watching on the front porch, they are rugged and we leave them out unless we expect heavy weather. At this price we allow the grandchildren to use them too. My wife says the size is perfect and they fit her hand and come to the eye easily. We have spent more for lesser quality.
  • Pros: Excellent optics

  • Excerpt: We have Ruby throats and barred owls to watch within 100 feet. This binocular is well worth the money. See the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology 2013 review of binoculars under $200. ([@]) They are correct about this binocular and B&H is a great source for this product. I received the Celestron cleaning pen as a "discount!
