Excerpt: I love these binoculars! They are easy to use and easy to focus. Great value. The image is clear and bright. I wear glasses and found that this is the first pair of binoculars that I do not have to remove my glasses to use. I use these for birding on a daily basis. They bring in bird details from a near distance to across the lake.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: WE HAVE TWO PAIR OF THESE BINOCULARS. THE COMBINATION OF WIDE FIELD OF VIEW AND STEADY IMAGE IS UNBEATABLE. WHAT YOU EXPECT IN A VERY EXPENSIVE BINOCULAR IS EDGE TO EDGE SHARPNESS, FINE DETAIL OF MACHINING, WATERPROOFING, ANTIFOGGING, LGHT WEIGHT, AND BEAUTY. THIS IS NOT AN EXPENSIVE BINOCULAr. It's from people who have been making precision affordable telescopes for decades.
Pros: Close Focus, Quality Lenses, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: I gave these to my husband as a gift. He has already used them at a Nascar race and to watch ships sail the Chesapeake Bay. He wears bifocals and the Celestron Granite binocular has worked well with his glasses on or off. They are a bit heavier than he would like, but thats a testament to their quality construction. They arrived very quickly and were packaged well. I have always been happy with my purchases from this seller.
Excerpt: I use these binoculars primarily for birdwatching. I also own a pair of Nikon 8x42 Monarch 5 binoculars, which I also like. They are on par in terms of optical quality (both being bright and sharp). Notwithstanding the extra goodies that come in the box, I give a slight edge to the Celestron Granite because it feels more natural to hold (in my case) and its operations are very smooth (especially when adjusting the interpupillary distance). This is truly a hidden gem!
Pros: Brightness and sharpness, Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Very Smooth Adjustments, Waterproof, Wide field of view, Works Well With Glasses

Summary: I bought these for bird watching on the recommendation of reviews. They are fantastic binoculars. The picture is very crisp and bright - in fact on a dull day the image seems brighter when viewed through the binoculars. They are compact and comfortable to hold and carry and seem well protected. The only criticism I have is that one of the front lens covers became detached from its fastening without me noticing and I have lost it.
Summary: The title of this review says it all. When compared too my old set of bino's (a cheap pair of bresser 8x45 for about £50 if I remember correctly) the optics on these granite bino's make the old set look as if you are looking at something on a misty day. I kid you not! The details in the tiles of a house roof are stunning, making these bino's very useful for checking the condition of any roof tiles/brickwork/satellite dish very easy.
Summary: ED lenses for crystal clear view. Incredible product, lightweight and compact size. Works fine at low light conditions. Full pack with a bag, straps, lens protectors and everything. it's definitely worth it.
