Exactly what I expected!

Ivaylo, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Perfect design, feels very comfortable in the hands. In my personal opinion, and like owner, it is almost identical like specs with Bushnell 8x42 Legend L-Series but with a bit more sharp focus, maybe because of the "Open Bridge" design. Don't hesitate, buy it, you can't find better for this price.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction

Super Binos

Harywood, B&H Photo
14 July 2015
  • Excerpt: Celestron makes top-quality telescopes and this is evident in these Granite 8x42s. I'm a long-time astronomy buff and these binos provided superb, wide-field views of star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Mind you, I was at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon at 8400 ft elevation.
  • Pros: Quality Lenses, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses

  • Excerpt: These are my first binoculars with ED glass. I have been using Nikon Trailblazers. The difference in image quality is immediately noticeable. The image is very crisp and the colors just seem to pop.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses

Jose the Birder, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I am convinced that the name Celestron is the best kept secret when it comes to top quality binoculars. I have owned two Celestron telescopes that have given me great joy and satisfaction for many years because of their optical quality known the world over. Why not try their binoculars?

Easy to Use

Jayhawk, B&H Photo
5 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I love these binoculars! They are easy to use and easy to focus. Great value. The image is clear and bright. I wear glasses and found that this is the first pair of binoculars that I do not have to remove my glasses to use. I use these for birding on a daily basis.

AFFORDABLE BINOCULAR THAT DELIVERS

Soundpix, B&H Photo
12 February 2015
  • Excerpt: WE HAVE TWO PAIR OF THESE BINOCULARS. THE COMBINATION OF WIDE FIELD OF VIEW AND STEADY IMAGE IS UNBEATABLE. WHAT YOU EXPECT IN A VERY EXPENSIVE BINOCULAR IS EDGE TO EDGE SHARPNESS, FINE DETAIL OF MACHINING, WATERPROOFING, ANTIFOGGING, LGHT WEIGHT, AND BEAUTY. THIS IS NOT AN EXPENSIVE BINOCULAr.

Great field of view

Forest, B&H Photo
28 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Compared to my old Meade 8-24x50, the field of view of this Celestron Granite is much larger at 8x. The build is solid, and the images are sharp and contrasty.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Resolution

Great Gift

Race Watching Don, B&H Photo
14 November 2013
  • Excerpt: I gave these to my husband as a gift. He has already used them at a Nascar race and to watch ships sail the Chesapeake Bay. He wears bifocals and the Celestron Granite binocular has worked well with his glasses on or off.
  • Pros: Wide Angle Viewing

5 star plus optics and build quality

Mr. M. B. Landeryou, Amazon
1 January 2014
  • Summary: The title of this review says it all. When compared too my old set of bino's (a cheap pair of bresser 8x45 for about £50 if I remember correctly) the optics on these granite bino's make the old set look as if you are looking at something on a misty day. I kid you not!
