Summary: . Tom,Washington. Considering it was sent from France, the delivery information was first class. I could follow its journey through each depot. Also the the promised delivery date was spot on. The weather has not been kind enough to put the Scope to much use but the times I did manage to use it proved to be very promising for a new starter of my age (in my 80s). All to look forward to.

Summary: I've got a nice telescope but sometimes I just spot something in the sky (usually a planet or that the moon is looking particularly appealing) and can't be bothered to get it all set up. Now I have the Firstscope, I can just get a bar stool, plomp it in the garden, stick the Firstscope on it and be looking at the object in minutes. The 20mm lens is ideal for locating the object in the sky and the other lens offers better closeup views.
Summary: Bought for adult son as his first scope. For the price it's probably as good as it gets. Not so dear that it could be a disaster and not so cheap that it's worthless. He's also managed to take photos through it. He's happy and so am I.
Summary: I bought this for my 6 year old child as she had become interested in the moon and the planets. Having used it a few times, I would say this is an adequete telescope for a child of this age although adult supervision is required, especially with finding and focusing objects to view. We looked at the moon and were able to see its craters. The telescope is easy to use out of the box. Also, the design is very compact so it is easy to store.
