Summary: The quality of this product is very good. It has high quality optics and nice design. Also it is so easy to use. I bought 2 for my kids but I am using this binocular quite often as well. Very good choice for the price.
Summary: I wanted to buy a pair of binoculars for sometime without spending much money because it was just for hobby..and to play around. Also i wanted a compact set with zoom function so that i can zoom in if needed. After looking at many different ones and their reviews/prices, i came across these for $15. The reviews were decent so i decided to buy them. Just received them and played for sometime.
Celestron Traveler 8-24X25 Compact Water Resistant Zoom

Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CELESTRON. I made a mistake thinking I got a deal, after getting problems adjusting the lens to compensate for my near sightedness, I had to spend the $$$ to buy a NIKON 8x WATERPROOF binoculars for my trip to Alaska. The Nikon did a MUCH better than job, furthermore the return policy with Celestron pretty much tells you what they think of their product, (WORTHLESS) Any company willing to make you pay a high premium to return their defective...
Summary: After reading so many good reviews for these binoculars, I feel almost like I'm trying to burst everyone's party balloon by writing my review. But, this was my experience with these binoculars, and I have a suspicion that I'm not the only person who has experienced basically the same problems as I did. I wanted to get a small set of zoom binoculars to carry in my car.
Summary: I received a set of these binoculars directly from Celestron as a replacement for a defective set of their 8-24x25 Traveler zoom binoculars (which have now been discontinued). These should have been AT LEAST as good as the Traveler set (if not better), but instead they are worse (see my review for the Traveler for more details)! These binoculars have the cheaper grade BK7 prisms (whereas the Traveler set has the BAK4 prisms).
Summary: This is a very nice binocular. I used it at the Dayton airshow this year. The view @ 8x is simply amazing. Offcourse as this was an air show with high speed planes i am not able to use the higher magnifications. But when i look around in a park at magnifications more than 8x its good. But gets a little fuzzy at 24X. Its well worth the money. The only negative point is the cheap strap. I dont like the smell of it.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: The binoculars are great at the 8 power, exactly like my wife's 8 power Celestron. But when you try to zoom in to the max zoom, the field of vision gets very small and then the object I'm zooming into gets out of focus. However, if I only zoom to about 10 or 12 I have no problem. I've used the binoculars birding at the wildlife preserve and they are great...also light in weight.
