Excerpt: When I was searching for a compact binocular, I want one with top quality, relatively reasonable price and great image. I was comparing the top compact ones from Leica, Zeiss, Nikon. I gave up Leica and Nikon because of the duel hinge bridge. I feel duel hinge binoculars are hard to handle.
Summary: These Zeiss compacts are really amazing. It is impressive they engineered them this super light weight yet retained great optical quality. The image quality is perfect. They go right in a pack pocket for the same weight as a couple energy bars and a drink of water. Best optics I have owned.
Summary: I've owned several different pairs of binoculars over the past 30+ years. I was always drawn to each one's optical/imaging shortcomings under certain conditions. A pair of full size Swarovskis I purchased a couple of years ago opened my eyes to the wonderful world of high quality optics!
Summary: Bought these binoculars specifically for travel. Very lightweight and compact. Fit in my shirt pocket with ease. Yes, the field of view isn't as wide as larger binoculars, but that's the trade off for the small size. Optics are great. I will end up taking these in the field for deer season.
Excerpt: I bought these binoculars to take on trips and to performances. I like the way they fold into a compact Z-shape, and they focus easily. I also own a pair of Nikon compact binoculars which are good, but the Zeiss are better. They're sharper, brighter and more contrasty.
Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
Summary: Excelant. Optical clarity and quality are fantastic for a set of "compact" binoculars. The strap (actually a string) was a bad idea. Come on Zeiss, when we pay this much for a compact binocular set we expect more.
Summary: The Zeiss Conquest Compact Binoculars from Cabelas are TOP QUALITY and extremely clear. The folding mechanism is unique and they fold down to a very compact size. I highly recommend these binoculars.
