Summary: When I use binoculars with say 50mm aperture on the sky I am delighted to see so many more stars; however, the magnification so decreases the field of view that I find it is difficult to figure out where I am looking. Over the last few years, I’ve become increasingly frustrated at not really knowing where I was looking – too much information in the visual field.
Summary: I like the wide angel lens on this it is very good detail while watching sports events. The caring case is very helpful also because you can sling it over your shoulder when you are not needing to use the binoculars.
Handy for the car or a game. Not for extended viewing.

Summary: These are almost perfect to keep handy in the car to peep out street signs and traffic conditions, or to watch highlights of a game from the cheap seats. The large exit pupil and wide field of view make for quick acquisition of the image, and since there is no need (or ability) to focus, you won't waste any time there. The focus is set for a person with normal vision, so if you need new glasses, these will magnify the deficiencies of your old prescription.
