  • Summary: I ordered the binoculars for target shooting as I am having a little difficulty seeing the bullet holes in the targets at 50 yards through my 3X9 rifle scope and I didn't want to spend $200 for a spotting scope. Although I have only had the binoculars for a couple of weeks, they meet my expectations.

  • Summary: These are definitely stronger than my 8x30s. I use them for whale watching. The only issue is the narrow field of vision. I recommend that if you want strong binoculars, make sure it says wide field of vision, or else it is like looking through a tube. But the power is good, and I use them when I specifically want to see something on the whale, like some sort of natural white marking on the whale's tail.

  • Excerpt: This is my second pair. My first pair was lost in the Rainforest in South America. I like it becasuse of the size and if I need to use it quick I can. It is light and doesn't take up much room. Drop it a few time with no effect. It is a great part of my equipment when I go into the field.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses

  • Summary: A friend bought the same binos at Dicks and spent $44 I use them for hunting. Mainly Deer and Turkey here in Ky and love the fact that I can watch them without being seen. The distance and clarity is outstanding!! The size is compact even at 16x32 and the coating keeps them in your hand even in wet conditions. The neck strap needs to be replaced as its just a string and can cut into your neck. I changed mine out with a wider one and it works great.
