Excerpt: I bought my daughter the smaller ones and I liked them so much I bought this larger one for myself. For the price I don't think you could beat it. Crystal clear with no focusing. Because of the nature of the Permafocus, viewing anything within about 200 ft. will not be in focus.
Summary: Saw this exact pair at our local swap meet priced at $*! My husband & I love this binocular for it's stay in focus ability & good quality. Our other pairs require too much refocusing between us & by the time we got it right , the object we wanted to see was gone!
Excerpt: I bought these to replace my Jason 10x50s, which my 5 year old left at the local park. I had used that pair without an issue for over 10 years. Apparently Bushnell bought out Jason, but didn't change this pair except they are black rather than a cammo exterior. I use them mostly for birding.
Pros: Good Clean Glass, No Focusing Needed, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: I bought these Permafocus binoculars for an 8 year old boy. They were easy for him to use,the weight was medium and binoculars are durable if dropped. Protective carrying bag was a useful addition. No negatives found.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, The Price Was Reasonable, Waterproof
Summary: These binoculars were purchased for an upcoming cruise to Panama. I had the opportunity to test these and was really impressed with the speed and accuracy of these glasses. I recently took them along during an outdoor picnic at the bay and was very satisfied with the performance.
Excerpt: these optics are the best we have ever used, given their very reasonable price. We hold them up, side by side to some other brands that cost five to fifteen times more than these and these are superior to most.
Pros: Close Focus, Quality Lenses, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: These were purchased for general use and indoor concert viewing. I think they're fine but a bit bulky for an opera or classical concert. A negative is that you cannot adjust the focus on these.
