Excerpt: Excellent binoculars clear view case is very handy also. I bought these for hunting they are a little heavier than I'm used to but for the price and the quality I'll get used to them fast definitely would recommend to anyone
Excerpt: It's bright and clear. Purchased as a gift for my mom to watch birds feed in the backyard. I used them for a week before I mailed them to her. I probably would buy something smaller for myself if I wanted a pair to throw in my hiking bag but again, no complaints with the optics.
Excerpt: We used the legacy wp bushnell binoculars on our recent safari in africa - and they were really great - they were not bulky at all.... the waterproof and fogproof features helped a lot! its extremely dusty on these safaris and these features kept the dust out..... overall great - and would recommend them!
Excerpt: I use these for birding. Specifically, locating birds that will become photographic subjects. These binocs focus easily, and work well even in low light situations. They are a bit heavy, and may be too large for someone with small hands to comfortably use the center focus.
Summary: Slightly disappointed to have received binoculars which look nothing like the picture in amazon. This inaccuracy notwithstanding these are excellent binoculars. The low light performance is great and I could see considerably more in full moon conditions than with the naked eye. Image is very sharp and the diopter adjustment is easy to use. The problem with the lens caps seems to have been solved as mine seem to stay on ok.
Summary: These really are very good binoculars for £100. I tested them as soon as I got them, going out for sunrise. They were therefore tested in low light conditions and they performed really well. I could see everything clearly and they let in so much light. The focusing works fine and the rubber that they are made out makes them feel good in your hands. They don't weigh much and are a good size.
Summary: This bino is now discontinued which is a bit strange as I believed it to be either a replacement for or an upgrade to the Bushnell Legacy 8x42 porro. According to Bushnell's website only the 10x50 is officially still listed as current. (12 AUG 2011) The reason for its retirement may be the badly engineered focusing arrangement that is so stiff I managed to disconnect the focus wheel from the rubber finger grip, such is the pressure required to operate the focusing...
Summary: Every bit as good as the Helios Naturesport 8x40 porro... SEE MY REVIEW! Main differences are casing, coating on prism,( green here/blue green for the Helios with no visual or optical difference) water fog proof although this comes at a price stiffer focusing bridge due to "o" ring seals on ocular assembly.
