Great investment for your legacy

  • Excerpt: Works exactly as per the expectations. Actually we used to have a similar pair of Bushnell binoculars (50x10) which my granddad owned and I recall watching Haley's comet through it in 1986. The tech and optics have definitely improved over the years and the focusing now much smoother, easier and sharper. The build quality and the rubberized casing gives that extra grip which was missing in my grandpa's Bushnell.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Field Of View, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
  • Cons: A Little Heavy For Kids, A Little Leavy For Kids, Not Waterproof

Really Good PRoduct

  • Summary: These are really good binocs - crisp, clear, and easy to use. For their size they are fairly light weight. They are really nice in low light situations. If you are looking for a reasonably priced set of scouting binocs - these are great.

Thought they would be a little better

  • Summary: I'm a little disappointed in them, I guess i was expecting a little more from Bushnell. I'll keep them, and throw them in my pickup's glove box so I'll have a back up pair, but I'll still use my old ones.

Won't be disappointed

  • Summary: Purchased these to replace the same pair stolen from me about 2 years ago. I expected what I got. Not the best on the market, but a really good pair of binoculars. If I had one wish...It would be that Bushnell Fixed the from eye piece caps. They are connected to the unit so you don't lose them, but they don't stay on and keep the glass protected. I am afraid to scratch the lens.

  • Summary: I used the 12 magnification variant, the same build and model just more zoom, on a very recent elk hunt this December(2013). when out scouting for elk me and my father frequently stayed out glassing for a half hour or so after sunset. these binoculars were as bright as his expensive Nikons and leupolds of similar objective size. very crisp and bright and reproduced the tans, browns and colors common in southern Colorado.

  • Summary: I only gave this 4 stars because I just got them as a christmas gift and haven't had the chance to use them hunting. These are crisp and clear. I fully expect them to be everything I was hoping for. For the price, these are going to be great, for me.
