Summary: I'm a little disappointed in them, I guess i was expecting a little more from Bushnell. I'll keep them, and throw them in my pickup's glove box so I'll have a back up pair, but I'll still use my old ones.
Summary: Purchased these to replace the same pair stolen from me about 2 years ago. I expected what I got. Not the best on the market, but a really good pair of binoculars. If I had one wish...It would be that Bushnell Fixed the from eye piece caps. They are connected to the unit so you don't lose them, but they don't stay on and keep the glass protected. I am afraid to scratch the lens.
Summary: I used the 12 magnification variant, the same build and model just more zoom, on a very recent elk hunt this December(2013). when out scouting for elk me and my father frequently stayed out glassing for a half hour or so after sunset. these binoculars were as bright as his expensive Nikons and leupolds of similar objective size. very crisp and bright and reproduced the tans, browns and colors common in southern Colorado.
Summary: I only gave this 4 stars because I just got them as a christmas gift and haven't had the chance to use them hunting. These are crisp and clear. I fully expect them to be everything I was hoping for. For the price, these are going to be great, for me.
Summary: I will keep it simple. I love these binoculars. ust got gack from deer hunting with my son and used these extensively. Not a compact pair but not full size either. Excellent in low light and eye offsets for prescription glasses and single eye adjustment for those of us with different vision in each eye. Bought these for my son but hope to get myself a pair.
Summary: The Bushnell perma focus 12x50 binoculars that I bought are crystal clear and allow you to see extremely long distances without having to mess with a focus ring. They are perfect for hunting, which is what I bought them for.
