Summary: I tried three different models of Bushnell roof prism binoculars in the fifty to one hundred dollar price range. The Powerview waterproof AP 10X42MM, the Bear Grylls 8X25MM and the Bear Grylls 10X42MM. The primary use for the binoculars will be for hunting in rain or shine, warm and cold weather. So waterproof/fog proof was a must to have. All three have their limits, likes and dislikes. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa.
Summary: these binoculars are really really nice clear and comfortable to your eyes and easy to hold these optics are light and work really good with the bone collector harness which makes walking and hunting easy and quick
Summary: fantastic binoculars, I have 5 pairs of binoculars and the bushnell permafocas 10x42 are one of the best all around pairs for the money in my opinion. i have a pair of permafocas 10x35 pair that are better for me for bird watching or sport events.
Summary: Just completed a full Tasmanian fallow deer season hunting in eucalypt forest and dense pine plantation. Found the light gathering ability excellent. Far superior to my old 8x32 Trophy's and I think better than my 8x36 Nikon Monarch's.
Summary: For the money, these are great binoculars. They are crisp, clear, and semi compact. The Bone Collector "flair" is icing and a pretty sweet cake. The only downfall is the from lens caps don't stay on ver well.
