Summary: Not that impressed for the 10x42 Explorer model, which is this same Buckhorn model that other vendors sell. I was kind of disappointed when I got these for a pre-season scouting trip. Hard to focus right in....the adjustment is too loose and you can't refine the 'one spot' of focus. Beyond 300 yards these things lose their sharpness. I have Simmons 10x42 Wilderness Binoculars which dial better than these..
Excerpt: I bought this for travel. They are light enough to go in my carryon, and provide excellent viewing. We also live on a golf course, so these are very nice to observe action as well as critters.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof, Works Well With Glasses
Summary: if you're looking for a decent but inexpensive binoculars, then these will fit the ticket........good value for the price.........not as sharp, clear, color, or brightness as the higher end binoculars, but again for 5 times less money........
