Summary: I bought these for just over £100 and am very unimpressed. Both eye cups fell off after one months light use birding. The build quality is awful. The lenses themselves are good though, but if they're housed so badly what's the point?
Summary: Bought to replace a pair we lost. Use for birdwatching and whale-watching so waterproofing a bonus. Compact, light and good vision - like everybody else, though, we hate the loose lens caps. Why they can't sort this, I don't know.
Summary: Just moved up from 8 x 42 to these at 10 x 42. Extra weight is no problem and image is crystal clear. I personally don't think there's any need to pay expensive when these binoculars are on sale (I was looking at Nikon at over twice this price). This is my second pair of Bushnells and they work well. Focusing has to be done delicately but its easily mastered and then its a fantastic image. If it was possible I would have given these binoculars 4.5 stars.
Summary: There's an old saying don't spoil the ship for a hap'th of tar, Bushnell i hope you read this WHY O WHY have you put those cheap covers on the objective lens they keep falling out i am sure for a few extra pounds you could have provided more substantial covers. However on to the binos, I am a keen birder and decided to upgrade to 10x42 to give me a bit more detail and i have not been disappointed these natureview binos are perfect they do just what it says on the tin !!
