  • Summary: I was originally going to buy a schecter devil deluxe(i think thats what it was called) but as i played it there was a hum and a few things were a little loose on it. Then a buddy i was shopping with found this bass and what a difference. It was used but in mint condition. No scratches that i've seen everything was tight and the gold bridge and tuning knobs weren't even faded. It has a wonderful tone and a nice boomy sound.
  • Pros: great sounding and well build
  • Cons: string spacing a little close

  • Summary: after staring at spectors with envy but not settling for the performers i finally ran into one of these. The guy tried to return the bass at GC but had scratched the finish and couldnt get decent trade in. I was that day planning on going home with an ibanez sr505 until he let me try it. I loved the finish, and especially the fretboard design. At the 600 price tag on the wall i couldnt afford it then, but id gladly pay double for it to replace mine.
  • Pros: Amazing quality for the price
  • Cons: string spacing is tight

  • Summary: I was looking for a 5-stringer to replace my old cheapo bass, and when I've heard that someone was selling a mint-condition Schecter I jumped on it. Well, I wasn't frustrated even a bit. This bass plays very easily, the neck is pretty thin and fast. Featuring neck-thru construction, this instrument has very nice and streamlined neck-body "joint". Nice access to the high frets (24 in total). The string spacing is pretty tight, but I like it this way 'cuz I don't slap.
  • Pros: Awesome sound for the price, good looks, excellent building quality
  • Cons: Not for slapping

  • Summary: I bought this bass as a backup to my MIA Fender Jazz V. It soon became my #1 bass. I eventually sold my Fender and bought a second Schecter bass. Neck through. Passive EMG HZ pickups with active EMG pre amp (Vol, Vol, treble, bass). The HZ's have a real bright treble to them but it sounds great in a band mix. Very modern sounding. String spacing is slightly tighter than a Fender Jazz V (17mm) Just the way I like it for finger style playing.
  • Pros: Good bang for the buck. Sounds and Plays great! Looks great too!
  • Cons: So far after 6 months no complaints. If something comes up, I'll post it
