Summary: This a very good "Beatle Bass" copy for it's price, & so far, I haven't had any trouble with it since I bought it off an ad I saw on Craig's List. It's a medium scale, semi-acoustic bass, which means, it's definitely not a hard rock/heavy metal bass.
Pros: Sound good, it's quite light & a joy to play (even on stage).
Cons: You might want to replace the stock steel strings to flatwounds or halfwounds.
Summary: This was a pretty fantastic buy in my eyes. I\'ve also got a Precision which allows for a bit more freedom of Tone when compared to the Beatle Bass, but this new bass is just too fun! It plays very well and when run through an old Vox Bass Amp, the sound is reminiscent of the sixties.
Summary: Good bass, especially considering that it was so inexpensive. The switch to the bridge pickup broke, but I don\'t use that one anyway. Really comes through when I need a British Invasion or garage sort of sound. Much better with flatwound strings.
