"best bass for the buck"

By a customer from gmail.com, zzounds.com
8 January 2012
  • Excerpt: The perfect heavy low-end bass with so much tonal versatility. The tone controls on this bass can cover any bass sound you want, from hard rock to the slappy seinfeld theme sound.

"Great bass for a good price that records well."

By a customer from gmail.com, zzounds.com

  • Excerpt: I use this bass mainly for recording. It records very well. I am not a bass player,so I play it like I would a six string guitar. The notes, even in the lowest registers are clear and well defined. The action is low and very comfortable.

"You've found the bass that you are going to buy."

By a customer from hotmail.com, zzounds.com
20 November 2011
  • Excerpt: This bass sounds phenomenal. You won't find a better bass in the price range and could even spend more on poorer sounding basses. Between the tone shaping knobs on the bass itself and your amp, you will definitely be able to find your perfect tone.

"The 2 V's: Versatility and Value"

By a customer from verizon.net, zzounds.com
21 February 2011
  • Excerpt: The sound is incredibly versatile for an entry level instrument, anything from electronica to funk, this thing really performs. I use Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings which give the bass a rather different sound from the stock D'Addarios, and I think actually give me more versatility in the sound

Amazing!

Kyle Krueger, music123
9 February 2011
  • Summary: For this price, this is the best bass on this website! I am in absolute love with this thing! Its poppy enough for funk but yet it can still hit all the low notes too. The pickups are great and the ability to change the tone any way you choose is ridiculous.

Try This Bass Before You Buy!

Gordon-pJ.LJ, music123
29 March 2010
  • Summary: So I was looking for a new bass inside a certain price range. I've tried several other basses and nothing was giving me that comfortable feel or a decent sound. I stumbled across an Ibanez SR300 at a local music store. I'm not really a big fan of Ibanez but this thing sounded and felt great.
