Summary: Now I have to spend some more money to get the upgrade.
Pros: the supported memory under specs stated it to be ddr3 204-pin. After I purchased the ddr3 ram and tried to upgrade, it turned out to be a misfit. What a waste. Of course I didn't attempt the upgrade right away, so have passed the return window. Somebody needs to proof read what is advertised.
Summary: I was highly disappointed with this unit. I had one fail right out of the box, then when the new one was shipped I couldn't play any HD movies on the new unit. I increased the memory to 4 gig thinking that was the problem, but it did nothing at all.
Pros: Well it seemed to work fine until all the 109 updates on Windows 7 finished.
Cons: DOB (Dead on Birth- basically would not reboot after OS installation). Unplugged the power cord, replugged the power cord and press the power button. No Joy. Simply dead.
